I can't help but be biased, but I think, and excuse me if I am wrong, that my bias is in its place. Not coz he's Argentinean, I am a great fan of Batistuta and Messi, they have provided magic moments to be remembered...I just hate "that asshole"..Maradona, Cristiano, etc..kinda guy, no matter how talented they are.
For me I am biased for "the good guy" and for the game of football. We have all grown up idolizing players, cheering them on, attempting to score like they do, and celebrate in their shoes. We all were easily influenced as children, whose jaw wasn't wide open when Ronaldo went on his crazy runs butchering defenses?! Shit! I would kick the ball in my dreams every night!
Children should have players to look up to, on and off the field. Players should be ambassadors to "the game" and maintain a certain etiquette at all time all while showing an exemplary work ethic to be the best to earn the Title.."The best ever!"
So I am sorry if he is not in my top eleven, he just doesn't cut it for me. Something about when Kaka scores and you see that "I love Jesus" shirt...I am no Christian, but boy that brings a smile to my face!
